Weld Process Engineer needed for a growing manufacturing company that produces components and assemblies for commercial vehicles, construction equipment and agricultural equipment. The position will be responsible for developing new processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience of hands on Process Engineering, Welding Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience within a manufacturing plant that utilizes robotic welding.
Responsibilities for the Weld Process Engineer
Lean manufacturing that uses continuous improvements to increase production and cuts costs
Establish welding procedures to guide operations and welding techs
Implement and monitor welding processes
Improve efficiency and output of Welding processes
Requirements for the Weld Process Engineer
3 years experience of Mig, Tig and robotic welding
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
