The Manufacturing Coatings Engineer has accountability for procedures, on-going evaluation, and profitability of the related E-coat and Powder coat lines in the Ohio & AK facility, as well as, optimization of plant coating production and maintenance through employee interaction and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
Establish procedures for all paint line related equipment, tooling and materials. This includes wash, rinse, paint booth and oven related areas for optimization of performance and plant expense.
Monitor paint line metrics, inputs, outputs, preventive maintenance.
Work in developing work instructions and inspection criteria.
Establish load procedures for engineering rack density associated to production requirements. Provide schedule for maintenance for load related equipment for all coating lines.
Strong understanding of all related pre-treatment and paint specifications and prints associated to E-Coat and Powder coat lines with all internal and external customers.
Awareness and enhancement of coating lines profitability, FTTQ, and OEE.
Coordinate with Operations in identifying and resolving issues as well as process improvement opportunities related to production and quality of the each type of paint line.
Complete area walk around on a regular basis to insure schedule attainment and 5S maintenance. Establish line metrics and visuals for training and plant awareness.

Minimum of (3) years of engineering/operations experience preferred in current E-Coat and Powder Coat paint line technology and equipment for metal fabrication, stamping, heavy truck, construction and military industries.
Experience in related maintenance of Paint lines for optimal quality and operations performance.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office/Project and CAD related software.
Travel as required to suppliers and internal plants. Customer Interaction a plus.
Results oriented leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement, awareness of new technology and execution.
Self motivated, hands on individual with keen interest in quickly learning and applying new skills who can follow written and verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong decision making and problem solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in higher profitability.
Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins and sustains credibility in relationship with internal and external customers.

Ability to react quickly to changing requirements and new process developments.
Strong background in Paint Line metrics and profitability. Awareness of lean thinking and non-value add reduction in key areas of the paint line process.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
