Physician Office Assistant

The current opening for a Physician Office Assistant is in an Outpatient Physician Office. The Physician Office Assistant/Medical Assistant is responsible for all day-to-day operational activities within the practice. Creates a team-like attitude and approach to practice functions and management.
Job Requirements
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in management or a Health Related field or minimum of three years of documented management experience in a health care or physician office environment deemed appropriate and acceptable by the physician.
Clerical skills and medical terminology required. Must demonstrate ability to use office equipment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and direct both clinical and clerical staff.
Ability to balance needs of the physicians and the initiatives of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to empathetically communicate with all customers.
Ability to demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to proficiently communicate both orally and written.
