Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Description

Manage and direct all QC Department employees. Support and enforce the company policies and BMS system. Assure the outgoing quality of all products meet our customer expectations, and are compliant with the documented quality plan and procedures for all products produced and shipped.


Maintain quality manual, outline company QC procedures.


Oversee all inspection functions.


Oversee the programming of the CMMs for content and accuracy.


Resolve customer complaints and in-house non-conforming problems.


Maintain quality plans and part capability for all customers.


Make on-site customer visits.


Direct all MRB issues write and submit deviation requests.


Review SPC reports and implement corrective actions as needed.


Provide leadership in TQM efforts through team meetings, etc.


Make disposition decisions regarding scrap or rework or by submitting to customer for repair authorization.


Maintain and set up statistical computer programs.


Attend all meetings as scheduled.


Keep employees and managers informed of quality issues as necessary.


Conduct and communicate employee job performance appraisals.


Mitigate employee problems and complaints


Follow and ensure that employees follow all company rules.


Maintain all QC documentation, recordkeeping and associated files.


Evaluate and recommend purchase of new QC equipment, software, etc.


Oversee all QC audit functions including knowledge of TS16949, ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 but not limited to.


Perform all miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Work safely


Develop and direct APQP activities & requirements.


Maintain housekeeping.


 


High School Diploma or GED required.


Some technical education required


2 years minimum experience in manufacturing and QC required.


2 years minimum experience in management required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
