Carpenter Journeyman

Description

Tradesmen International is currently seeking Journeyman Carpenters with
Commercial Experience
as well as experience as a F
oreman/Crew lead
to join our teams operating throughout
SE Michigan
and
NW Ohio.

Specific responsibilities to this position:

  • Studying specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
  • Collaborate with the architect/engineer and all direct project trades to ensure achievability and timeline of each project
  • Ability to prepare, maintain and submit project schedules to management for review
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment
  • Ability to detect any outside work outside of the Scope of Work and process a potential change order for managements review, including all details and pictures needed
  • Submit daily reports to management and clients electronically

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of recent experience in
    commercial
    carpentry
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings and plan sets
  • Ability to oversee, interact with professionals and lead team debriefing meetings
  • Drug free at all times

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
